"You are what you eat" That doesn't mean you'll turn into a cheeseburger if you eat too many of them. But it does mean that your body will reflect the QUALITY of the foods you eat most often. Eat a lot of highly processed (junk) foods and your body may feel and look less vibrant. Eat a lot of highly processed foods and your body may feel and look less viblot of foods rich in vitamins and nutrients (fruits and veggies) and your body will glow with vibrant health.
Note (updated): This was one of my very first posts from 2011. While I still believe that what we eat regularly matters, my approach has evolved over time. Today, I focus more on balance, flexibility, and a non-judgmental relationship with food—where all foods can fit. Add more nourishing foods, enjoy your favorites too, and let balance guide you.
